objectives:

Participants be acquainted with the Cochrane Collaboration and its
activities
- Participants should understand the differences between a systematic
review & a traditional narrative review.

Participants understand the significance of levels of evidence
represented as the ‘hierarchy of evidence’

Participants should have obtained a foundation knowledge of the
steps required to conduct a systematic review in the field of health
care

Collaboration is an international organization that aims to help
people make well-informed decisions about healthcare by preparing,
maintaining and promoting the accessibility of systematic reviews of
the effects of healthcare interventions.
This intensive
two-day systematic review training workshop will allow the
participants to get acquainted with the Cochrane Collaboration and
its activities as well as provide the necessary skills to contribute
to this type of research.

Every one involved
with health care as provider, recipient or researcher. This will
include consumers who are patients or people interested in a
particular field of medicine, nurses, doctors and healthcare
personnel.
